For those of you who don't know, I went on a cruise in the Canary Islands at the end of February. It was fabulous. I flew into Tenerife and we cruised to La Palma, Maderia (Funchal) Portugal, Agadir Morocco, Lanzrote, Gran Canari and back to Tenerife.
Seven days of sunshine and warm weather was just what I needed.
Here are some pictures from Tenerife.
This is the hotel I stayed in. It was clean and comfortable, but the room was really small.
Next are pictures of the ship, well the suntanning and sleeping parts any way.
The smaller pool is for the kids and is only 3 feet deep. It however was used by the adults since it was warmer. The larger pool was 5.5 feet deep but very cold. Refreshing when you were hot from sunbathing.
Below are the warn tubs.... not very hot at all but relaxing to sit in and get messaged by the jets.
This was my cabin, well the bed portion. There was a desk and chair on left and a small table and chair on the right. Also a long row of closets with drawers in one of them and the bathroom. It was a very comfortable size.
These are pictures of Tenerife from the ship. The first one is where you confirmed your registration for the ship and got your access card and your picture taken.
I thought it was cool the way there are pockets of houses built into the hills/volcanic mountains. The landscape is not very green since they are volcanic mountains.
I will put the other stops in separate emails.
