Another week off

Pasklov - Easter break is 10 days in Sweden, so I have a week plus Easter Monday off.  It is like a second March break....even if one was in February and the other in April.

This week will not be as exciting as the last one as I am staying in Stockholm and relaxing.  I am also doing some extended planning, catching up on my marking and getting ready for the end of the school year which will be here before we know it.   The weather has been warming up and the sun has been shining so it has been great weather for walking.  They are for casting 20 degrees C for Friday and a great Easter weekend.

Today I was in Hornstull for an appointment and walked along the canal afterwards.  It was very peaceful, with lots of wild life.  Here are a few pictures of the ones that were not camera shy.

This is doggie daycare out for a stroll.  There had to be 24 dogs out with those 4 ladies.  All well behaved dogs.  It was amazing to watch them all walk in sync.

I also saw a group of eight children out with two male adults.  The five young males were actually swimming, well jumping in and getting out quickly.  Last week it was freezing with snow flurries.  Today is was 8 degrees Celsius. Warm enough for a spring jacket, but swimming? The water is definitely not warm enough for swimming.  At least the three girls had enough common sense to stay out of the water.

You just wonder about some people.

Have a great week.
